In the last 20 years or so our culture has really changed. Seems for the better. But it’s weird to think back. I was watching an episode of All in the Family and Archie says the most racist, homophobic things. It shocking when i watch it now. That shit would never fly today on TV but i guess it’s ok for the TV land station 
Today i was watching Swiss Family Robinson this movie from the 60s. It was amazing to see how much they kicked ass on the animals!
They had this part with these 2 dogs attacking a tiger. It’s was fucked and it was real.
Don’t get me wrong i still want animals to die for my dining pleasure but i don’t care to see people roughing them up and grabbing ducks by the throat and shit.
Maybe Portland has turned me into a complete pussy.. Maybe i am just getting sucked into society.

Hey Jamie, It is pretty crazy how things change over the years. I think a good comparison would be Archie Bunker to Dave Chapelle. Both are using racist driven dialogue to show how stupid and fucked up racism is. Some people probably took All in the Family too literally the same way they are going to take Dave too literally. But as long as most of us understand the point then I think it’s a good thing what they are doing.
