One day in 1996 I was at my Music Mart in Moline IL. I happened to run into Dimebag Darrell from Pantera. I wasn’t a big fan of the band but i had one of their records and thought it was pretty good.

He’s a fucking amazing guitar player and is a huge kiss fan. So we ended up chatting a bit. Turned out they were in town to play a show and he wanted to do a little guitar store shopping. I had the day off work and I was gonna make the rounds to a bunch of shops anyway so we opted to hang out.

Jerry had a polorid camera for when famous people came in the shop I guess and took some photos of us. In the one picture were trying to recreate the pose from the Kiss Destroyer record cover.

So he hopped in my car and we spent the day together. We did some shopping, a little hell raising and ate a few tacos. We had a really good time. I remember he had this huge wad of cash. Had to be a few grand. He kept trying to get me to smash up my car and we would just go buy me a new one haha!

I opted out of that plan because I really liked my car and I didn’t need any more troubles with the law as far as my car was concerned.

For driving him around all day Darrell bought me a really nice cymbal case. It’s the same one I have today.

Apparently some crazed fan jumped on stage and shot him 4 times tonight.

I’m not sure if what his condition is but that really sucks. As much fun as I had with Darrell I can’t imagine why anyone would want to kill him.

Darrell I hope you make it outta this. I’ll never forget the day a Heavy Metal guy and a Punker kid drove around the Quad Cities in the blue CRX and raised hell. God Speed buddy.

Well i have had a little spark and have been trying to better myself lately. I decided to walk on the treadmill everyday. Seeing as i’m not riding cuz the fucken skatepark kicked us out.. Anyway, so lastnight i was on the treadmill and i thought i was gonna speed it up. I pressed the speed button up and it didn’t seem to fast. I kept pressing it.. Shit 10 MPH this is nothing.

I didn’t realize that the mill slowly got up to speed. So the next thing i know it’s getting faster and faster going towards 10mph. I’m at a full fucking sprint in my living room trying to press the slower button.. No luck. I got tripped up and shot off the back of the treadmill and 10 MPH right into the fucking desk. uhg!

Anyway heres a pic of my running shoes. I bought them in 1995. Joanne think’s they look rediclous. Maybe they are.

Ok this is really dumb but for some reason i have an eye for women’s fashion. haha! You would never know it judging the way i dress myself. But i’m pretty good at it. I love going through the delias catalouge when it comes in the mail for jeremy and pointing out clothes i like and dislike.

So tonight i went with my lady and picked out a shit load of clothes for her. She seemed really happy with my choices. I’ve never felt so gay in my entire life, and that includes the time i was sucking that guys dick (just kidding) I was like, love it, love it, hate it…. HAHA! I even told a girl walking by that i liked her jacket haha!

Anyway it was pretty fun. The way i look at it is. I (as a man) know what i think looks good and is sexy or cute on a woman. So i should be good at picking out chicks clothes… hmmm that really doesn’t butch it up does it… I think i’m gonna go and smash a beer can on my head and beat someone up to regain my manhood now.
