Archive for April, 2005Well things have been nuts for me as usual that’s why I haven’t posted in awhile. I got a fucking photo ticket the other day. I think I am gonna start wearing mask when I drive so I don’t get those anymore. The same day that showed up in the mail I got pulled over again. I have the WORST luck with cars ugh! On another bad note my blood pressure is high. What a fucking drag. So I am actually taking steps to get it lower. I figure I made it to 30 I might stick around for a little while. Anyway I am drinking this green shit… To get some veggies in my system. It’s called Green Goodness.. It’s actually pretty fucken good. And I hate veggies. So you know it’s gotta taste pretty good for me to fucken drink it. On the good news side of things, I found a drummer for the punk band. His name is Noha and he’s pretty fucken rad. So we’ve been playing a few times a week and getting him to learn the songs. Ryan our bass player is moving back in June (I can’t wait) I’ve got a few new songs I’m working on as well… It’s been a long time since I’ve written any punk stuff. Anyway if anyone has any names for a hardcore punk band email me or put them in the comments. Lastly and the thing I’m most excited about is I bought a new guitar! I’ve been wanting to switch to the SG as my main guitar but I didn’t have a backup. I’ve been holding out for a white one for about 8 years. Well I finally got one today and it’s the shit. Should be here some time in the next 2 weeks. So the Mustangs will be retired and used only for recording and I will be playing a black sg and a white one live. Time for sleep.. I hope! I actually saw a twentysomething guy at safeway just purchaseing wine and cheese. ???????? Mitch Hedberg dead at age 37. Not that today hasn’t been shitty enough but I found out my favorite comedian passed away. I saw him play live in December. I was really looking forward to it. He was terrible… He was fucked up on something. I actually wrote him an email telling him I thought his show sucked and asked for a refund. See the email attached below. To bad he didn’t heed my warning. I feel bad that he has passed. He made me laugh me ass off. I love his CDs. If you haven’t heard his stuff I suggest you go out and buy it. Here’s my favorite Mitch joke: “I’m sick of following my dreams. I’m just going to ask them where they’re going and hook up with them later.” Sucks that you did this to yourself Mitch.. Thanks for the laughs though buddy.
