Mitch Hedberg dead at age 37.
Not that today hasn’t been shitty enough but I found out my favorite comedian passed away. I saw him play live in December. I was really looking forward to it. He was terrible… He was fucked up on something. I actually wrote him an email telling him I thought his show sucked and asked for a refund. See the email attached below. To bad he didn’t heed my warning.
I feel bad that he has passed. He made me laugh me ass off. I love his CDs. If you haven’t heard his stuff I suggest you go out and buy it.

Mitch,
I went to see your show last night at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland Oregon. I bought tickets for myself and one for my girlfriend as a Christmas present.
What a fucking disaster. The first 10 minutes of the set was good. It was pretty obvious that you were totally drunk and fucked up. When you pulled the mic cord and killed the mic it all went down hill from there.
At that point if I would have known what the rest of the night we’re to hold we would have gotten up and left right then. Actually if I had known I wouldn’t have flushed $60.00 down the drain by going to see you in the first place.
So after sitting there for 8 minutes while the mic situation got worked out you had the opportunity to save the set. But instead you stood there fucking around, taking way to big of drinks from your cup, fucking with the 2 mics and letting the restless crowd get more restless.
When you let a crowd with some drunk people in it to get restless your gonna get hecklers. The heckling starts, and you just shut down.
A few times you started to get on track.. Speeding through jokes wasn’t very funny though.
Come on Mitch, your a fucking professional. Act like one. I don’t care if you drink yourself unconscious. But not when your suppose to perform. It just ends up with a room of people feeling like you wasted their time and money.
Does if feel good to watch hundreds of people walking out during your set?
Don’t blame this on the hecklers. Your a pro. Dealing with them should be no problem. Coming up on stage and not being able to perform is totally irresponsible, and disrespectful to me and the rest of the audience.
Mitch your one of my favorite comedians. But you really really let me down. Instead of a night of laughs and good times. I left angry, and disappointed.
So if you care to make this up to two of your fans you can mail us a refund of $60.00.
And maybe think about getting some help.
