I’m sure you’ve heard by now but Richard Prior passed away a few weeks ago. One of the first movies my mom ever took me to was Stir Crazy at the drive in theater. I was only about 5 years old but i remember thinking it was so funny. So funny infact that i actually have an audio tape of me retelling the jokes and funny situations from the movie.

Most of you know me on a personal level and know that i love telling jokes, and trying to push the envelope of what i think i can get away with being funny. I learned that from watching people like Richard. It saddens me to think about all the great comedians that have passed away in the last year or two. Richard Pryor, Carson, Rodney Dangerfield, Mitch Hedberg.

It’s because of guys like these i get ideas like this. I think they would think this is funny. RIP Richard.
