I just recently bought a stright marshall cab off craigslist for $100. What a score. On;y problem is it had 1 blown speaker. Basically i just wanted to tell everyone how much i dislike 75 watt celestions. I guess they would be good for metal because of the scooped mids. But that’s just not the marshall sound to me. So i replaced the one blown speaker with a vintage 30. Actually it’s called a Hellatone. It’s besically a rebranded celestion so the guys selling it can sell it for cheaper than MAP pricing.

So if your looking for great guitar speakers my personal fave is the 25 watt greenbacks and the vintage 30 celestions. You can get them here. These guys are super cool and easy to work with as well. And Celestions are easily $40.00 cheaper per speaker here.
